PaaS
Definition
PaaS: PaaS (Platform as a Service) is a cloud computing model that provides a managed platform for building and deploying applications. Unlike IaaS, the provider manages servers, operating systems, and runtime β letting founders focus entirely on writing code and shipping product without DevOps overhead.
Example Usage
βAs a non-technical co-founder, Heroku saved us. We deployed to production without touching a server. By the time we needed infrastructure control, we had revenue to hire a DevOps engineer.β
