Employee NPS

ConceptualOperationsMetrics

Definition

Employee NPS: Employee NPS (eNPS) measures how likely employees are to recommend their company as a workplace, using the same 0-10 scale as customer NPS. Promoters (9-10) minus Detractors (0-6) equals eNPS. While limited as a single metric, eNPS provides a simple benchmark for employee sentiment over time.

Example Usage

β€œOur eNPS dropped from 45 to 20 during the reorg. We addressed concerns transparently and recovered to 55 within six months.”

Common Misconceptions

Compare eNPS across companies. Scores vary by culture, region, and survey methodology; track your own trend.
High eNPS means no problems. Some detractors provide valuable critical feedback; investigate outliers.
