Definition

Scrum: Scrum is an agile framework for developing complex products through iterative sprints, defined roles (Product Owner, Scrum Master, Development Team), and regular ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives).

Example Usage

β€œWe run Scrum with two-week sprints, daily standups at 9am, and retrospectives every other Friday.”

Common Misconceptions

Scrum works for every team. It's best for complex projects with empowered teams.
Daily standups are status reports. They're for coordination and removing blockers.
Scrum means no management. It redefines management roles, not eliminates them.

Origin: Created by Jeff Sutherland and Ken Schwaber
