Epic
Definition
Epic: An epic is a large body of work in agile product development that spans multiple sprints and is broken into smaller user stories. Epics represent significant business goals β like 'add team collaboration' or 'launch mobile app' β and help founders bridge strategic vision and day-to-day execution.
Example Usage
βOur epic is 'Real-Time Collaboration' and it's made up of 12 user stories across three sprints. Without the epic, the team would lose sight of why we're building each piece β the epic keeps us aligned on the business outcome.β
